What are others saying about participating with Team JDRF?
"I run with Team JDRF for my nephew, Patrick, who was diagnosed with T1D in 2010. Running marathons with Team JDRF is my way of supporting my sister. I’ve run 5 marathons, all fundraising for JDRF. I love the sense of community Team JDRF brings, our marathon family is amazing!" - Tracy Collyer
“I was never one to be very open about my diabetes but fundraising with Team JDRF made me realize how much of an impact we can have on other T1D's. I love the support I get from my teammates, the Team JDRF celebration before and after the race, and the community of other diabetics who know what it's like to live and train with this disease is something very special.” - Daniel O’ Neil
“After my son, Michael was diagnosed with T1D when he was 12 years old, I became an active JDRF supporter. I participated in the JDRF Ride program for many years and then decided to join Team JDRF after I took up running. I didn’t start running until my 60th birthday. Since then, I have run 7 marathons with Team JDRF including 4 Dopey Challenges. It’s so much fun meeting other JDRF supporters from around the country and we're all there for the same goal- to raise funds to find a cure.” - Barry Falcon

What is Team JDRF?
Team JDRF to Cure Diabetes is a unique and exciting way to fight diabetes. Participants choose Run locations and run for their choice of distance (usually a half or a full marathon) to raise money for JDRF. Runners from around the country take on two challenges: raising the money needed to fund research for better treatments and a cure for diabetes, and reaching a personal training goal to prepare for a race experience.
